The barber kind of pushed back my right temple abit more than usual doing a hairline shape-up after I got a grade 1 cut, and Im noticing that where he cut it, theres visible hairs that have appeared but they arn't actually growing. They seem thick (as in they arn't vellus) but over the last week they havent grown at the same speed as the rest of my hair. I also noticed this on my left temple, theres a tiny patch in the corner where the hairs just been the same length for ageeees. What does this mean? Im not familiar with this being associated with hairloss?

Also, the bit that kind of goes inwards near your eyebrows, the hair there has always been very slow growing for me, like theres definately hairs there they just seem to grow slower than the others?

Whats this all about lol. I hope my hairline recovers after that barber, its been perfectly straight until then!

I had the same problem with one of my templesides and still do. The hairs are at the edge of becoming vellus hairs. They are just weak and small and dont grow so fast and only for a few cm, even when they got color and seem normal. Your only bet is to threat the area and they might go normal

Thats kind of annoying because it wasn't noticeable at all until the barber fucked up.
Im taking finasteride and Nizoral anyway, still waiting for the 6-8 month mark before I decide to jump onto minoxidil aswell..

I am kinda doin the same thing

My hair seems better EXCEPT my hairline I am not sure if it is getting better or worse...it isn't really moving back so much as general thinning

I think I am gonna hop on some minoxidil in a month or two
