Hair Loss Remedy Conspiracy Theories??

Don't you find it odd that hairloss has been around for a thousand years, yet no one has come up with a remedy or cure??

Seriously...think about it....is this not strange??

I believe that someone, at some point, has found a cure, and it is being held-back...just like the electric car...

seriously though, I believe a cure or near cure has been found but is being suppressed by the drug manufacturers (Propecia, Minoxidil) and the Hair transplant surgeons, who would be out of business if baldness was cured.

But what about all the money they would make have a pill that cured hair loss!? It would become the new v****- as in it would get a lot of attention, even just in pop culture. It would be a drug that hardly would need advertising, make anyone involved rich and famous. You would have sitcom plots where grandma was popping these pills because she wanted to get the hair of a 20 year old, and have zany outcomes! (even if in reality the drug did not work like that).

It seems like the holy grail in this corner of the medical world. I dont think that is worth more then all the boxes of Rogaine they push off on guys each year!

IMHO regeneration of new hairs is impossible, but prevention of common baldness is relative easy

Just like there is a cure for cancer....
I personally know a guy that is a medical celebrity (head of cancer research) and tours all over the world lecturing at hospitals, universities and tv interviews about new future cancer fighting drugs yet his brother is fighting cancer and he is has bold as a cue ball. I asked him once about the cancer cure conspiracy and his response was that if it was true, then he would know of it and furthermore, pple in his industry at the very top would not have lost their loved ones to cancer.

Its just beyond the reach of science right now but I think in the coming years we will see significantly better things. Its very important to keep all your hair though because regrowing as we know is significantly harder. Up until about 20 years or so ago when propecia came out there were no options so I would argue in the last 30 years we learned more about hair loss then in the previous couple hundred. It might accelerate as researchers get better tools to help them this stuff is not fast,cheap, or simple to figure out. There is a reason most diseases are not cured its pretty hard.

agree. im sick of hearing that cancer has been cured and the cure is being locked away to sell more drugs.

i spent 5 yrs studying medical research at university, and i can assure u, there will never be one cure that cures all forms of cancer, as they are all different. Some are caused by viruses, some are caused by chromosome translocations, and mutations, some by auto immune coditions, some by a series of genetic mutations, and there is always a genetic component as well as varying levels of environmental influence on our epigenetics which in turn affects our genetics, i.e micro rna that codes for genes, that codes for micrornas etc.

the only way i can think of that will be a silver bullet, is to unlock all of the involved genes, and epigeneic influences, and make a treatment that somehow balances them all and knocks out the bad genes, but this is impossible becauses genes that code for diseases, or traits, usually code for something useful. and also gene knockouts will only help future generations not the current one.

If ur so sure theres a cure, i would love to know wat it is pls. and i hope its not just cesium or high ph therapy, because this has been proven ineffective.

I am with you anxious1, there will never be one cure that cures all forms of cancer,
the same I said before, better prevention that cure...
I suposse that medical research is studing also the earlier step of the degeneration process of cancer....
