Although I am 40, I have a hang up that I have had some hair loss after agreeing to a friend giving me an indian head massage over 10 weeks as he is training in this. It was quite vigorous and can only assume it may have resulted in the weakening of some of the roots. I've attached a pic. Anyone else come across this?[attachment=0:2lcov8v7]image001[1].jpg[/attachment:2lcov8v7]

I'm not that up to speed with Indian hair massages and if they have the ability to weaken hair roots. One thing I do know is from the picture you've posted you have great head of hair for your age. :)

Looks incredibly thick!

What region of India massage was it from specifically/originally? Like if it was from the Doaba area you'll be ok but the Magadh are you might need to start worrying. I'd ask him.

By my estimation you'll be bald 27 days after you read this message .

Enjoy life while you can , cause it won't last long , you can try running naked in the street with some inscriptions on your chest like " I love guacamole "

Ayurveda's massage with oils could aid to remove the hairs in exogen phase, but it must be a temporary effect.
OTOH only expert can massage scalp with Ayurveda, ....

It is possible that new hair could be more healthy, ayurveda's product, emblica oil per example, are good for scalp and hair.

I agree I have probably been over worrying. My friend says I should be more worried about the gray at such a fairly early age!

@Cassin,My comment"better" had nothing to do with this gentlemen's english. I feel that the OP has a very nice thick head of hair for a man of 40,the word "better" was a little confusing to me considering the state of OP's hair,we should all be so lucky, lol :)
