I am asking a question about my friends son who is losing his hair. He is a six year old Japanese boy. He started to lose his hair in October 2008. At first it happened in several small circular patches around his head, which then spread. He now has hair around his forehead and bits of the sides but the rest has completely fallen out, and the places where it has fallen out are completely bare. He has recieved cream from the doctor to stop the hair loss, but it hasn't worked. Now he is also taking a herbal Chinese medicine. The cream seems to have stopped him losing any more hair, but he has not grown back any of the hair he has lost. If anyone could give us any advice, it would be a great help. Thank you.
