I use to wear my hair medium length for a guy and sometimes even long. I was always told how my hair was thick and have had women tell me they were jealous of my hair. Over the past 18 months I have had a bad case of dandruff. It goes away and then comes back and I can't seem to keep it away. Sometimes its red and sometimes its not. I don't believe I have been scratching in the area thats thinning but I can't be 100% sure. I have also decided taking photos and was wondering should I do it when my hair is wet or dry? I can feel the difference between thickness on the top and on the sides with my fingers... its worrisome.
Well for the past 8months or so I have been noticing hair thinning out around my crown. Every where else is still thick. Slowly it looks like its starting to spread. Im not sure if its just because I am letting my hair grow back out to see if it still looks thick or not, since I had cut my hair really short during last summer.
I don't know what to do. Im 23 and 6'5. I plan on talking with my doctor over the next month. I never wore hats as I have heard hats can cause baldness.
Any ideas or suggestions? If anyone knows of some questions I should ask my doctor that would help as well.
