I am opening this pole to see if there any correlation between hair colour and baldness. It is known for sometime that blond haired people have thin hairs and they are more susceptible to baldness. I am just curious so opening this pole. Please take little effort to vote. Thanks !

myself i have black hair but i think northern euros with blond hair go bald a lot.
i work in a school and every teenager i see with thick, blond or light brown, wavy hair - their dad is bald.
i see so many kids and i must admit damn i am jealous of that kids hair. then i see his dad and my feeling changes to "enjoy it while it lasts, kid".

a teenager here with the best hair ever was making fun of a bald teacher. well his dad came in for parents eve. Norwood 7. i told the boy, he would not be laughing for long

I think hair pigmentation has to do with hair fate in general. People with dark jet black hair rarely go bald. African Americans ,native Americans, orientals all have dark black hairs and male pattern baldness incidence is lower in these populations as compared to Europeans. What say?

Not sure if this has recently been confirmed but one study I read several years ago stated blondes have the highest density of hair, redheads the lowest. Might have been in women though. As far as balding, I've seen little difference in the degree of it between dark and light haired men.
