Hair cloning

I heard that in the next few years will be introduced a new technique of hair implant...with cells that are making hair to grow, something like duplication of these cells through something like cloning...How much time we have to wait for this?Anyone of you got any information?

I was thinking that someone now more exactly because it's been discussing about this from 2004 till today...with nothing certain...

I was optimistic a few months ago but I think the economy is going to
affect funding research on these kinds of things and I don't see the economy
being what it has been for a long time.
