I am a 22 year old male living in the uk.
I am experiencing hair loss but I believe it is due to 2 things after having a trichologist look into my scalp and give me a diagnosis.
My scalp around my crown has been thin for over 3-4 years and hasn't changed much but it looks like this is due to a issue with my scalp (I forgot the name) but something to do with folliculitis, I also have been told I have a slow recession going on.
The problem is, these clinics are very sketchy and I have been charged £55 for a cream and shampoo that will not fix the problem alone. I will need to go up to the clinic once a week. For treatment. I am extremely sceptical as surely this can not be right. Surely something can be done for me long term in terms of medication.
I'm going through major depression and been off work for a while and I'm just falling into a deep dark hole that I can't get out of and no one seems to be helping me.
What do you guys think, what should I do? I'm a 22 year old mixed race male (half black and half Caucasian ) I am panicking and I need some serious help, does this treatment sound like a legitimate deal as £45 each visit plus travel is just not possible for me at this time.
