Hair changing colour where i'm applying minoxidil at the front

Hi all, my hair is going lighter where I am applying the minoxidil? I have started applying it at the front becase I noticed I had started going a bit thin in that area and as I have started to see some results at the back of my head I thought it was worth a try at the front... Should I be worried about the fact that it is getting lighter in colour?

I think that is normal. The same thing happened to me when i first started so it appeared thinner than it really was in the front where i applied it. I tried dying my hair one time and that made it look thicker. You could try that.
