Hello,

I am asking this because..I have SD and my scalp is kind of irritated all the time and i havent changed my brush for like 5 years now and these thingies at the edges came off long ago and everytime I brush it hurts my scalp....

I am wondering anyone there who recommends any good hair brushes something not too to harsh on the scalp ?

i don't use a brush because i have a buzz cut. but when i had it at 3 inches+ i either combed it or just let it go wild.

sweeet

i recommend buzzing it or using a comb or just using nothing.

how long is your hair?

either buzz it, or just don't worry about brushing. just push it forward or leave it as is when you get out of the shower. brushes can be very irritating to the scalp.

thats my main problem...the irritation since I have Sebborheic Dermatitis...
and cause of that my hair sheds...so I need to brush it to remove the hair thats loose..so it doesnt go on my shirt and stuff...

PS: dunno how long it is...but time to shave!http://i10.tinypic.com/2cxhr7q.jpg

No it's not. Shampooing your hair will take all of the loose shed hairs out of your head. If you don't shampoo for a couple days or longer, the shed hairs just build up up there and when you finally do shampoo, a lot m ore come out. Shampooing has no effect on shedding.

Can shedding big amounts of hair can actually not be hair loss?
Or once you start shedding a lot of hairs, means you have male pattern baldness?

I know plenty of people that shed like dogs and aren't losing any hair. I never noticed my hair shedding before I started on Avodart. I think you really have to go by how your hair looks rather than trying to count hairs to determine male pattern baldness.

Thats exactly why I added Proscar cut into 1/5ths to see if it stops the shed then I would know that its male pattern baldness but now like 2 months on it and shed exactly the same...and it sheds the same amounts from the sides and top and back...my TSH(thyroid) level is normal I am now taking iron for 2 weeks...still the same heheheh crazy...
