Hello,
Recently, I've been losing more hair than normal. After looking at the hairs a little bit closer, I noticed that they didn't have a follicle/root. Typically when a hair comes out, or is pulled out, it has the little follicle at the base. The hairs that I've lost just look like healthy hairs without a follicle.
I have wiry/curly hair. It's not fine and straight. It's also been really hot here lately +37C/+100F. Could it be that my hair is breaking off, and that I'm not actually losing hair due to male pattern baldness? Has anyone ever heard of this? Thanks for the help!
