hiya guys, been on here for ages now. I was on propecia over a year ago now.

But i was having sides, like very runny semen and low in volume, which was quite embaressing when i ejaculated etc..

Also, from time to time I would have a peeing problem, where it felt like id keep needing a pee and was awfully uncomfortable. I went down to half a tablet a day and still had sides etc...

Also, I am VERY concerned that the longer u take propecia the less fertile ul be, from what it seems to do when interacting with the semen etc...

So basically, my hairs very bad now it seems, its been one of those days when i was like OMG, tht is terrible. No need for pics at the mo, its not good and thats it.

What do you guys think as some of you are in the same position as me? I dont think i want to take propecia ever again, but at the same time i do not what to lose my hair at 21. It such a hard balance as u cud imagine, especially if it were to affect my fertility in later life!! I dont know what ur thoughts are on the fertility matter but still, I am dodgy bout tht.

What do u guys think i should try? I seem to respond well to things, even maybe minoxidil but thats not even in the same league as propecia!!

Sorry for the long piece of writing, hope u have some suggestions for me. Such a horrible thing to have to think about everyday at this age!

Sorry to hear that, Andrew. I'm in the same boat, although I am still on finasteride and minoxidil foam, they just don't seem to be doing much (although early days for the foam still). I got the same side on finasteride, watery semen that is. It wouldn't bother me but the gyno which it also gave me, does. Well, you could try rogaine foam and maybe copper peptides or something. The foam is still your best bet for regrowing some hair.

Keep fighting, man.

I'm not the most experienced guy here, but I do know there are guys on here who have kids after taking finasteride for a long time, and I'm fairy certain I've never heard about infertility from it. You could try .25 mg, it's supposed to be something like %86 as effective as 1mg but with less sides. Might wanna try propecia in fourths before you give up.

Btw, you don't live in Iowa do you?? I know a 21 y/o Andrew who's balding..

Yeah I don't think propecia affects fertility that much. But you seem to be one of the guys who has had sides with finasteride since you have been posting about runny semen for quite some time.

Yeah im from Britain.

cheers for the replies. Yeah i did suspect gyno as under my nipples i had some fatty tissue, and i train alot so i knew what my chest was normally like.

Doesnt seem to be there now but i did stop finasteride quite awhile back.

Maybe i hadnt got it bad enuff to be permanent and quit it at just the right time. Yeah the runny semen really bothers me, its like water.

Du think spironolactone??

If you're dropping finasteride, you should definitely jump on to spironolactone. Also, add minoxidil and if you can, a copper peptide.

is the only place to buy spironolactone dr lee really?

Its about 15 pounds on there, 60ml. So should it last the same as minoxidil?

yeah, prob never gonna go back on it either. Gyno onset POSSIBLY, fertility scares that i think it causes, runny semen = very embaressing..........
