because he wants to? because he prefers it? why come onto a hairloss site to save your hair then buzz it?

Some people look better with a buzz cut. Simple!

I just looked at your story after reading your other thread and your hair does look like its improved quite abit, look thicker ontop but hard to tell without a flash.
Im guessing your still keeping it buzzed. Forget about what your mum says, she still probably thinks of you as her little boy with curly blonde hair(or however your hair was then) and is struggling to deal with the fact that you are grown up and want to smarten yourself up and keep a direction in life. My parents seem exactly the same as you, my mum doesnt seem to like the buzz cut but knows better than to comment all the time as Im just like my dad and she has had to put up with him for 30+ years and so she knows how to handle me, whereas my dad just tells me to whatever makes me happy, he encourages me to do my dangerous pastimes and chat up every girl I see.

Yeah I guess there was a bit of improvement the last time I buzzed it. No one commented anything, not even my mother. Well my brother-in-law said something like "oh you've cut your hair again" but that was it, really.

Generic finasteride, brand name "gefina" which is used for treating prostate cancer. It's 5 mg finasteride which I used to cut in 1/4ths, but now I rather cut it in 1/8. I couldn't afford propecia. I buy the stuff from Finnish pharmacy which I trust a lot. I don't think it's fake.

Judging from your before and after pics, I would say treatments are definitely working. I know you still feel your hair kept thinning out, but the pics are a solid evidence that its actually been improving.

No it is not, I know it is not. A year ago I could hardly see scalp looking at the mirror after shower with my hair soaking wet, now it's almost nothing but scalp. I have no idea why the picture lies that much, although it could only be the different lightning, different hair length and different hair style.

Are you absolutely sure your hair loss is caused by male pattern baldness then?

Umm, yeah? My twin bro is in the same situation, my mother is thin, one of my uncles (mothers side) is NW6 and my mothers father was NW6 when he died. I got their hair type so yeah I'm pretty sure  .

If the evidence is strong and your hair loss is rather aggressive, I think you should consider dutasteride if you really want to have great hair.

Like I have explained I can't get dutasteride. No doctor in Finland will describe it and ordering medicines from abroad is illegal here. So... umm... I'm fucked .

Yeah and then the customs open the package and wham bam, I'm busted. I tried to order saw palmetto once, even that didn't get through the customs because it's listed as a medicine here in Finland. I paid for nothing.

Yeah it would be worth a try but no can do unfortunately. The only way would be if someone else would order it and then send it to me.

If you really have no source of getting it, I will help. I am from Canada though.

Thanks, but I really have to think about this first. Scared that the gyno will go worse or that my hair just responds badly to dutasteride.
