Got my first Propecia prescription today, the price...

So I called yesterday to request my Doctor to prescribe it and today they call and say that the insurance probably won't cover it as I expected. So then she said they will call and try to order a 3 month supply.

So a few minutes later she calls back and says 90 dollars! And I go "wow that's great, that's better than I expected for a 3 month supply!" She goes "no that's just for 30".

lol so 90 dollars a month!

Is that about the norm? What do you guys pay?

ah. i've read other people doing this. I don't know of any way to talk to the Doctor unless i make an appointment. if i call i will just talk to the receptionist people. That is a lot of savings though... i'll keep it in mind, THANKS!

what's your opinions on finpecia?

hey Drugstore.com is 180 for 3 months (60 month), its a real drugstore run by rite aid and you need a prescription. ITs the cheapest for the name brand ive found. Plus go on propecia.com and sign up for the persistance program, you get 260 bucks back the first year your on it. Good Luck!

yeah, i pay about $65/month for it.

hey, for the price of what most people pay for cable/tv, in my opinion it's not too much to ask to keep my hair.

i'd swap to proscar but propecia has been working so well i'm scared to jinx it!

i'd stay away from the generics... you just can't be sure.

Indeed i do enjoy howard stern good observation. The propecia program is legit and you should def take advantage of it. I just finished my first year they took 60 bucks off my first 90 day prescription and sent me a check for 200 bucks after my fourth prescription! And if it really doesnt work you can get all your money back!
