Hi, this will be the last post I make until maybe months after to tell about any changes I experience.

I saw a doctor specifically that deals in hair loss and after talking he said that since the hair thinning and recession had started just in a year I have a good chance of improving and that it's after 5 years when it gets hard to treat if it remains untreated. Basically I went in there for propecia but after considering the side effects I decided to try Xandrox % 12.5 ( I opted out from the 5% cause I really want to combat this so I'm a lil worried on irritation, but if you all think the best way to go is 15% let me know) for a year and I don't see results then I will go with propecia.

So I'm cutting my hair short for a year, as it doesnt really look decent long with this hairline anyway ,and will do my best to get the right spots with Xandor twice a day.

The reason I'm posting is to ask for advice on a regime besides xandor as I have poor eating habits and want to know about which nutrients might help, it's just whenever I scroll on someones name theres a lot of stuff going on with the regime. So I'd really appreciate advice on that and xandor related stuff. Im not looking to have a hundred things more but just stuff that is very effective...and I'm not sure what works together well or not ( for example I thought about using revivogen as a shampoo, but if I didnt want to continually use it would I lose hair it might help grow when Im still taking xandor continually? stuff like that confuses me)

I really appreciate any help and sorry for over-posting if it feels that way to anyone, this place has really helped me tons!

I am curious as to how you decided on xandrox. Did the doctor recommend this to you?

You should get on propecia or a genereic version of it. Combating male pattern baldness without a dht blocker is a weak regimen. The side effects are enough to freak any man out, but the chances of them happening are slim. If you are really terrified of that slim chance you can split the pills in to halfs. Less medication means less chance of side effects. And .5mg of finasteride is 80% as effective as 1mg of finasteride.

I've heard good things about xandrox, but its pricy. If you are going to spend that much money on a product, it might as well be finasteride. The earlier you slow your hair loss, the longer you will have it. Besides, you say if the xandrox fails you will resort to propecia. Best to start asap. Minoxidil along with propecia is the best combo. Don't wait because the hairline is the hardest to rejuvinate.
