good new is, after 2 months of propecia, its definitely had a v good effect thickening up my hair, especially in the mid-scalp (vertex?) region.

however, i suspect im going through a shed again. is it common to shed at week 1 then month 2? anyone else had similar experiences to this?

finally, althought the mid-scalp has thickened up, the crown has become a problem area. this was not so bad before. im hoping its just shedding till propecia kicks in.

questions on that - can propecia shed somewhere then regrow, then shed another place and regrow it? r the periods of my shedding phases common? am really hoping everything still pulls through, especialy the crown at the mo.

thanks.

I've had sheds in different places at different times...early on I shed near the hairline and that grew back in fine...then around month 8-10 I shed alot in the crown area to the point I could see a quarter sized bald spot in the center of my crown if my hair was real sweaty/messy. That crown spot has since filled in so you can hardly notice any thinning.

dont worry, you'll be fine, 2 months is nothing. it'll all be good in a couple more months. :freaked:
