Has anyone found it was beneficial in any way? even if not for hairloss per say. has it been beneficial in anything? the inflammation maybe?

I been trying gluten-free for a while now. hoping i can get my body back to how it was before starting dutasteride. but the only real noticeable thing about going gluten free is that i have more energy and slight insomnia some days. which is either good or bad for my ADHD.

I am also trying dairy free too.

It’s really hard to do. Wheat is in the everything. Dairy free would be more reachable and beneficial for hair loss.

Cutting out gluten may slow the progression of pattern hair loss. There’s evidence that chronic systemic inflammation and hormonal imbalance precede pattern hair loss, and that if someone has a gluten sensitivity, then ingesting gluten will only exacerbate these triggers. The solution? Cut out the gluten! Doing so likely won’t regrow any hair, but it’ll decrease the conditions that contribute to hair thinning. Above all - it never hurts to experiment. Try going gluten-free, track your progress over a few months, and let us know how it goes!
