going from propecia to proscar

I have been Propecia for about a month and a half as you all know its very expensive compared to generic Proscar. I went to the Bosleys hair restoration for my free consultation and they prescribed it. If I knew about Finasterdine at the time and that was a generic form I woulda asked for it. I have a few questions, is their any difference between the ingredients in Propecia compared to Proscar? I know you got to cut it into fifths. Also has anyone else got Proscar from the Bosley clinic? Im guessing that since they are a big corporation they get paid more to prescribe Propecia rather than Proscar so Im guessing they wont prescribe me the generic. I will ask them for Proscar when I need a refill but I am guessing that they wont. Comments please

No, just the amount of ingredients as far as I know. The pills have different colors, so it must be a slight difference, but...

nobody can really comment on the validity of a pill without testing the pill itself but i know one guy sent in a batch of generics from inhouse and they were a-ok and 100% legit finasteride, so id say you're okay if you stick to the bigger name online pharmacies
