Give up?

hey all,

so im 24 and Norwood 2.5 and have been using minoxidil 5% (different kinds) for a few years and 0.5 - 1mg finasteride for around 6 months. I had an initial shed which lasted from about month 1 - 3 maybe a bit longer. The problem is as a result of this shed, just behind my hairline seems much much thinner and if im to pull my hair back its quite f**ked! pre finasteride it was certainly the same shape but all the same thickness where as now its the same shape but thinner just behind the hairline and doesnt seem as though its ganna last much longer. i really dont know what to do right now. i know if it was a shed (which im sure it was) it should grow back but just the unknown is killing me right now and im not sure if i should just give up :dunno: im just sick of trying to be patient for something that may never come . any comments are appreciated.

DO NOT GIVE UP! Stick with finasteride for at LEAST a year (if you're not having sides). If you're already going bald, then what's the worst that can happen?

cheers for the quick reply. I havnt really had sides...i mean sometimes after reading for a while about sides i think i have them for a few days but then after a few days i dont so pretty sure thats in my head. yea i spose i will stick with it for at least a year its just draining my energy thinking about what could be either way. i spose i just gotta be patient and hope for the best but expect the worst..or something like that.

Miconazole, ketoconazole, Folligen or IMO possibly even colloidal silver seem good topical choices as well as minoxidil.

I'm still learning about CS, but there are stories elsewhere from several people in quick succession about it regrowing hair ON BALD OR PRACTICALLY BALD SCALPS. It's mad, I think it stimulates stem cells. Obviously it sounds too good to be true though which is why I'm using it without getting my hopes up too far!

The other 3 are more proven though ofc
