Firstly, hello all, my first post.

Now apologies if this is a question that you guys are sick of answering, but as i'm about to get on topical spironolactone, between S5 cream and Dr Lee's 5% spironolactone, which would you recommend for avoiding the horrible odour i've read about? As this is something i very much want to avoid!
Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Alex

I've never used Genhair's S5 version but have been using Lee's version for several years and have never noticed an odor unless combined with liquid minoxidil. I think the "smell" you read about is exaggerated. Are you using minoxidil as well?

Oh right, that's good to hear. Yeah i have been hearing things about Minoxidil being the problem. I'm not using minoxidil. Someone else somewhere mentioned S5 may be preferable because it contains caffeine and, retinol and menthol?

EDIT: I've gone for the S5. I'll just have to hope it's good!
