Hello all, after watching this forum as non-member i decided to register since i thing there are much things to gain. I want you to excuse me if i ask questions answered before but i feel quite confused and want to short things out  So my hair has been thinning and falling for about 2 years now preety fast. I am 19 now and the hair loss problem is quite visible now. I had started some hair loss treatments at the past but did not have the strength to keep them going. This time i visited a derm with a very good reputation who subscribed me minoxidol 5%. I asked him if it would be good to also get propecia but he told me he dont like subscribing it to patients of my age. I want to ask if finasteride has better results than minoxidol OR if the combination of this two works better.
Additionaly my derm sent me to a pharmacy where they did something to regain bottle not sure what. Doctor told me this way it has better results and lasts longer. The new bottle says Regain 5% 60ml and something else i cant figure out only it starts with "Trelim" then something and then 0,01%. Do u know what this thing is?

My apologies for not making good sense. I am not yet familiar with english terms of hair loss plus there are so many questions jumbling my mind i cant get them straight! I promise to be less confusing in the future :)

yeah, I don't know the chemical name off hand, but I've seen it many times. I think it is just something to increase the absorption of the minoxidil, probably by reddening the skin. Not sure. Some people buy retinol for the same perpose. I don't think there have been any conclusive studies, but I'm not sure on this one.
