The general reasons for hair loss given by the medical profession, is as follows, probably in descending order.
Heredity factors.
Ageing.
Hormonal Imbalance.
Illness and infectious diseases.
Nervous disorders.
Toxic substances.
Injury and impairment.
Severe radiation.
Am I to believe that "heredity factors" accounts for the sensitvity of the androgen receptors to the androgens?
What role do "Genetics" play in hair loss?. Is it the over-production of male androgens, the susceptibility of DHT binding to the androgen receptors or the amount of androgen receptors in the hair?
Or does Genetics simply mean that the follicle will be destroyed at a certain time whether or not medication is involved?
