Front Hairloss

Hello,

I have a question...if through generations I see that no one really in my family had the usual pattern hairloss (crown + temples) but they only lost in the front.

I also notice that my back remains fine where my front is thinning somewhat..it would be safe to assume that I can attack only the hairline and temples?

Is losing from the front (temples wise) is normal male pattern baldness? cause it doesnt affect the crown or vertex....

I'd like to get your ideas about my topical regimen:

-SP internal
-SP cream topical on the hairline including the fatty acids, in extra virgin olive oil (50%-50%) mixture
-spironolactone topical 5%
-3g MSM
-5g Biotin
-1g ApplePoly
-nizoral 2% twice/three times a week

I did try finasteride, but I was shedding for like 2 months in a row..and it didnt help me out, I also think my condition got aggrivated by finasteride because I got sabborheac dermatitis(sp?) so my hair sheds in crazy amounts cause my scalp is unhealthy but it regrows (thankfully)...

I'd appreciate any inputs

Question on finasteride as I have frontal hairloss and it seems to have been aggravated by finasteride and as yet is showing no sign of slowing or regrowth after 3 months.

You stopped finasteride and you made gains as it aggravated loss?..how long were you on finasteride and how long did you stop it before hair started to improve again? Anyone else that it aggravated loss?

I'm at that point where my side efect is tiredness which even on lower dose is still bad. Hair is now so bad i'm at the point of shaving it. So coming off finasteride is not going to be a such a big deal although I really wanted it to work and put my faith in it.

Before I took finasteride I was on spironolactone for about 6 months and my hair started to become thicker from spironolactone..once I started finasteride my hair loss increased and it seemed like thinning had been restarted... I was on finasteride for 2 months and all that time I was shedding way more..while I was on it I didnt use topical spironolactone but I am done with finasteride and just using spironolactone and all the other stuff I mentioned which seems to work...I hope that applepoly will do thicken more of my hair
