From dutasteride to finasteride and doing better?

Hi,

Years ago i responded well to finasteride but used it erratically owing to sourcing problems. When my hair loss advanced i went on avodart as i heard it was more effective.
My hair is not as good as it was on finasteride but of course it may have been much worse if I took nothing.
The question is, might i respond better to finasteride if i go back on it? The science would say 'no' of course but i was wondering if anyone has gone from dutasteride to finasteride and yet done better on the finasteride?
