French Lace With Poly 1cm Rim Stock Issue?

Hi All,

I am about to order a lace system with poly rim around(1cm long) stock unit, this is what the supplier has in store my question is how to make the stock unit fit to my template if the poly rim is just 1 cm? I have to cut the unit to fit my template right? is there any alternative to this? do any of you guys use these types of units?

Hi, the poly back and side is usualy wider than 1 cm, most unit have one inch ( 5 cm)

Also, if you need to cut to your template, choose a stock piece which matches the closest.

For example I have a 6.5 inch by 8.5 inch i order the m116m from this supplier which is a bit larger

And cut about 1/2 inch, which gives me plenty of poly for sides & back the m116 model comes in small, medium and large.

Experienced suppliers should have different sizes of stock pieces, or else,they want you to order custom and charge you more...
