Hello,
I urgently need to dye my french lace hair system due due to reddish nuances caused by the sun. I have the system since 6 months and it goes well. It has 10% gray and 90% dark brown though the code was 1b10 . I need to use dark brown dye. I understand that grey hair on hair system is artificial and they will remain grey when dying, and that temporarily colors will penetrate the grey hair to, so Im forced to use hair dye , right ?
Further more I have found posts like this https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/dying-a-system-help-please.97922/ saying that there is a risk to stain the base. I can't imagine how can someone dye the hair system without touching the base, I found this impossible. Noah gave this instructions on this post https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/hair-system-dye-avoid-bleached-knots.111789/ "Pin the system to a polystyrene head, and hang the head upside-down over the bath. Then paint the dye on with a brush, obviously avoiding the knots and the base. The excess will run down into the bath, and not onto the knots."
Has anyone managed to properly dye the hair system without any stain on the base ? Is there any video on how to do it, because I cant find it. I never dyed the hair system and I don't have any spare unit so I need to be very cautious.
