freaking out, again

Hello,
I'm new to this site. I've been reading the threads, so I'm sure my story sounds familiar. About a year ago, I noticed that I was starting to loose hair - hair coming out when I run my hand through. I started using Rogaine (5%) and I've been on Finasteride (5mg 1/4 pill a day).

I guess I got relaxed with the regime for a while. I still took finasteride, but only a few times a week. Since April, I stopped using Rogaine. So it's been about 5 months. Now, I'm totally freaking out. My hair is really starting to fall out. It's thining from middle of the forehead to the back. I don't know how to categorize my type of hair lost. It's really kinda scarring me.

So, I'm back on finasteride and Rogaine. I want to do something more, but don't want to kill myself doing it either. So, can someone suggest a gentle regime? Do I need to see a doctor and get prescriptions? I've called around, but I'm actually having trouble finding a doctor that would know about this. The places I had "free consultations" seems to be pushing this laser treatment.

Thanks. Phew.

If you really want laser treatments, I would suggest buying the Hairmax Lasercomb instead of spending the money on pricey clinic visits.

That's what happens when you stop using minoxidil, what did you think was going to happen? or are you so clueless you had no idea?

Big three, minoxidil, finasteride, nizoral. If you took time to look at people's regimen, you'll find everyone having success is generally using one or all of those three drugs.

Stay clear of laser treatment, it will just empty your pocket,.

A lack on consistency in your regimen will only hurt your hair, by all means, after 12 months of using minoxidil you can miss days, or cut down to one a day without losing hair.
