So I was going through some old pictures on my computer, and I'm realizing that my hairline isn't really much worse than it was 5 years ago.

So I got curious, and dug out the old year books, and found one from 2005, when I was in 10th grade...there's a picture of me with a buzz cut, and CLEAR CUT TEMPLE RECESSION...NW2.

Holy sh*t. That I did not realize I have male pattern baldness until 3 years ago is mind blowing.

On the bright side, at least up until this point, my hair loss has been progressing at an extremely gradual rate.

All this is only making me more excited for my transplant...if all goes well, I'll be 28/29 with the best head of hair I've had since at least JUNIOR F*CKING HIGH

Crazy eh, the way KNOWING you have male pattern baldness takes its toll on you, as oppose to being completely oblivious to it.. I'm the same I had pretty much the same temple recession since 18 but it's only when I got more diffuse when it really hit me...

Thinning hair takes on different pigmentation.

Buzz cut is a good way to gauge who is balding, and who isn't

I remember having a buzz cut at 15 with a full head of hair. However the temples were finer, and lighter in color. Almost forming a perfect NW2.

fast forward a 2 years and a full blown NW2

Same here man I hate myself for having been in denial for so long. I wish I had been educated about facial aesthetics and balding at a young age.

Now I'm curious to assess my hair from middle school, and see if this sh*t goes back even furthur. Unfortunately I don't seem to have any pics from that era of me with short hair
