This is why YOU NEVER SEE THE BACKS OF MENS HEADS IN BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS OF HAIR TRANSPLANT PATIENTS. Its the thinness in the donor area.
Oh, by the way, if you develop a back bald spot, youre really screwed. Most docs REALLY dont like transplanting this area.
ALSO, if a gene therapy that genetically imprints good DNA to shrunken follicles (vellus hairs) on your head comes along and you have had a transplant.......YOURE SCREWED. You will have destroyed those follicles with the plugs. So you will be walkin' around with so-so hair while everyone else looks like Tom Cruise.
