Alright, so here is the story - a year ago I realized that my temples were being exposed and had thinning hair throughout. I almost had a heart attack since I have longer hair and never paid attentioned to my temples until i saw the initial stages of recession. This was about an inch and I was totally panicking when i noticed.

So basically I started on a regimen, I am not sure what had the most effect but the following worked.

!) propecia
2) rogain for the temples.
3) Saw Palmetto - it supposedly blocks the another form of DHT that propecia doesnt
4)Biotin
5) Iron supplements.

Of course, the hair in my temple is 50% back with the rest still growing slowly (knock on wood). Its best not to wait to long to bring back the temple hair since they are the first to die off. In the early stages, they might not be present, but the roots could be still alive so propecia and rogain can potentially bring them back.

I am thinking about getting the laser comb since it was approved by the FDA.

Good luck and start ASAP.

Saw Palmetto and lasercomb are probably waste of money. You should really investigate futher, this forum contains a lot of information on both products.

Good luck.
