I recommend nothing :!:

But I can give you some hints as to what I think

IMO..it makes sense to use a combo of things rather than just adding one "growth stimulant". And even to use a different combo of things at different times of the day. If you look at my "view my regimen" you'll see I use a product in the morning that contains procyanidins(sometimes called natural minoxidil) from apple peel extract and gse..and yes, Rooibos is in there too. The other ingredients are also beneficial in their own way.

The evening topicals also have "growth stimulants" in them.

Lipoxidil has their Rooibos product which also contains Sophora Flavescens..another "growth stimulant".

Their new product *might* be something you could try on your temples...since that seems to be the area you're focusing on.

It's Elsom made. I'm surprised more aren't talking about what could be used via their Formulator. Once my evening topicals have run out I plan to use the Formulator to basically combine them all. Well maybe I'll still use Equisomin sep from the others. I do plan to add/delete a few things from the morning one.

i remember that fred commented your elsom made topical (am I right that comment was about this topical??) suggesting that some ingredients were even detrimental. if this is really so, do you intend to make some changes in your future morning topical?

I think he might have been talking about the Adenosine topical from Japan...? I know he did comment on some of the ingredients in mine but they were mainly "I'm unsure" type comments.

I'm mainly looking to add SOD and take out gse(apple peel extract etc should be enough) and gte- replace that with something that would lighten the color of the topical some and maybe even allow it to smell better. It doesn't smell terrible but it could be better.

1. Mid 30's
2. Below 2. One side is worse than the other..what number does one give that.
3. I've been able to maintain plus have had, slowly, some regrowth around the temple areas. When I first started treatment..I was thinning out quite bad all over the usual places. Handfuls of hair..sebum an inch thick(it sure felt that way) etc.

You have to keep in mind I've been using various things prior to what I use now..and things like the MM PB(procyanidin product) and FNS..I used for a good 3+ years. It's been just over 4 years I think since I started. Ppl need to stick with things or at least keep using a variety of things, imo. I would even switch things around or give one topical a break here and there. And now with the Elsom products I'm again using new things and switching things around. Same with Lipoxidil..used Genistil for a few months..still using Inflamil. Maybe mixing things up a bit is the best way to go about it. Your scalp/hair doesn't get "addicted" to something or get burned out by it or the topicals just lose their effectiveness....or whatever the heck I'm trying to say

jacob,
what is your experience with FNS? i've read about a failure in intention to verify efectiveness of the product for male pattern baldness.
thanks!

Yeah..Farrel was supposed to have before/after photos etc for the FNS trialists.

I actually think it's a good product..for existing hair or new hairgrowth that needs a boost. I'm still looking forward to their nanosomal version...
