Granted, I'm 19 and losing hair...am i the only who is losing it very simliar to how they can see their dad lost it. Cuz my dad said he noticed very young too i think at 17....mine was clear to me at 18.5.....BUT, he has a very good amount of hair for someone 55 probobly a Norword 2.7 but has a strong crown and passable thickness for the hair he still has.

He madea comment to me the other day, (Not realizing im losing my hair)...that it sucks hwen u lose hair if your 90, but its worse when your 18.........but the point is i can see im losing it very simliar to him and will rpobobly end up like him. My goal is to prolong when this happens and try to keep what i have thick for X amount of years, but I'm very sure that I will no go completely bald untill i'm a very very old man, if then.

Anyone else think like this...............

i hope :) my dad is 55 and he is starting to thin some, it actually looks a lot like my pattern. its like that "tough to discern norwood" because it doesn't really go back (as in there is not an angle going back between where his hairline starts on the side as it goes up to his forhead looking from the side), if you catch my drift. There is still a more or less 90 degree angle between the side of his hairline, its just higher. and it looks very similar to mine (just thinner cause he's older). He did mention that he noticed some massive fallout around my age (24), just because he recalls my mom complaining about him clogging up the sink and shower all the time, long ago, yet he's now 55 and still has a good amount of hair (no one would call him bald). so i'm praying that mine somehow stabilizes here shortly. i think i'm losing it a bit faster than him, but he is really the only one in my family that has any real thinning. so yes, i've thought about this too Rock. luckily, i think the propecia is really starting to kick in here in month 7.5, so i'm praying i can stabilize and be happy with it, until HM comes out. so guys, you never know, some of this fallout could just be a phase, my dad said that he always goes through times where he just sheds like mad, then doesn't for a few years, and still has hair at 55 and definitely didn't use propecia or anything like that, though he has used head and shoulders his entire life??? maybe this was part of the reason :).

truth to alll that, ya in on minoxidil fincar, and nizoral with head and shoulders on my off days...........i can def see some new hairs on my temples....but i have like a n 1.5 or so when i shave my widow's peak with general diffuese.....so hopefuly i can thicken things up, and using minoxidil done'st relaly bohter me for the rest of my life, AS LONG as it works........so we'll see.

But lol, even when i was 15 i talked to my mom about getting transplants on my temples whe i was older, cuz we knew i would lose them haha, so in we'll see when that falls in palce maybe mid 20's......who knows just keeping the faith now

My dad has some recession, I'd say he is a Norwood 2.5 at the worst. He has a full and thick crown.

I, on the other hand have a full thick hairline and very thin crown. Seems like I went in the complete opposite direction he did.

Genetics is a weird thing.
