Foam with thick hair???

I never thought I'd get to ask this question..

But foam has brought my hair up to the level of thickness to where I feel like I'm just getting my hair wet with it. I mean, I put the foam on my hair (it's short, about 3/4 inch) and rub it in but I fear growing it out even more...

Foam is really thickening up my hair and that makes me worry about being able to apply it... to keep that hair.

Should I just keep it pretty much shaved as I had been?

"parting it" is not an option. That's just ridiculous with my hair.

yeah its a worry for me too as (if the foam works) i plan on growing it quite long.

You can't add the foam at all if you hair is very long?
I was planning to get foam but when I read this topic I think I should just get the liquid?
I've read about bad shedding on some people when changing liquid = foam after a long time. So why Foam = liquid should be differend?

things have been going so well for me that I'm just going to shave and let it go for a month, then repeat, until the cure.

Foam is so new that nobody can answer this question I've asked.

i have only been using foam for a little over two weeks so i have nothing to report in terms of success- however in terms of strategy:

i have pretty long hair that curls slightly and can get pretty thick. i'm just focusing on the frontal region and my naked temples when using the foam. so i basically just part my hair in the front as best i can and use the nozzle to shoot the foam directly on the spots i need to. then i rub it in as best i can with the tips of my fingers. afterwards i bunch up the hair in the front so i can see the hairline, squirt a bit on one finger and just rub it along the hairline, kinda pushing it up into the scalp with existing hair as well. i repeat this on the other side. yeah, you're going to end up with some of the foam in your hair if it's long. but you can definitely get your trouble spots with good consistency- and the realization that you might have to use a little more than a cap's worth.

I just shaved again, down to 2mm, basically bald as I like it when I shave. Now, it had grown out about 2/3 inch, and because of the new density, is pretty thick.

There is just no way I'm getting the same amount of foam to my skin as when it's shaved.

I think I partially atribute shaving my head to the stunning early results. It has to be a contrubuting factor. Shaved, it ALL gets onto the scalp. 2/3 an inch, much of the hair is being wetted.
