imo... Both work fine.

Here is what Dr. Bernstein has to say about it.

"Then, a number of years later they came out with men’s foam which has no propylene glycol in it. The problem with the foam is that, even though it is aesthetically a little bit nicer, it doesn’t really allow the medicine to penetrate quite as well into the scalp. Also, the foam is very hard to get on the scalp, especially if you have a lot of hair. It seems like the foam gets caught up in the hair, where with the liquid, you can separate the hair and get the liquid directly on the scalp."

Liquid is great, the generic I use dries after an hour or so and before it dries is totally tolerable. I only apply on my thinning area in the middle, if you have to apply it all over your scalp either buzz your hair or don't use it at all.

nah im good, but the thicker the better, if i can thicken it up, ill definitely like that

Are you aware that applying to face might increase the risk of systemic absorption? I'm not trying to discourage you, but I wanted to pass that on.

It just means it has a better chance of accumulating in your bloodstream.

I have come to think that minoxidil is some pretty safe stuff, but I'm no Doctor.

I think that the danger comes from people who are susceptible to vasodialatory edema (Water retention due to vaso-dialators).

Yep. Just keep it monitored.

It's the Folisomething 2%. I don't recommend it, it's just what I use, it's cheap and I noticed that it dried faster than Kirkland.

I've used both before in the past and in my opinion, I think both of them work just as well, especially if you're going to use it for beard growth. The foam is easier to use and dries quickly, though it's easy for it to get stuck in hair. The liquid is easier to apply directly to the scalp and have the medication go to where you really want it, though it can take several hours to dry and can give that 'thin' wet look which is one of the last things you want when you're suffering from thin hair.

I take oral Minoxidil now.
