are any guys on here using fluridil? i was using it last summer but had to stop because of a skin problem. My scalp is pretty good now so i'm thinking about getting back onto it as it seemed to help quite a bit.

Dude, no offense, but that regimen stinks.

I would definitely consider adding something a bit heavier like spironolactone, Nizoral and minoxidil at the very least.

yeah, i know it stinks...(smells also). I'm trying to figure out what's next. I'm thinkig about minoxidil or possibly fluridil again. (finasteride gave bad side effects)

minoxidil and Nizoral are a must if you're not using finasteride IMO. After that I guess I would suggest spironolactone? Many folks on HLH are claiming great success with topical flutamide with little to no side effects.

Yup. It's definitely still a risk, although some reputable posters who have been there for years claim it's helping with no sides at all.

I guess it boils down to ALL treatments. Some have sides on finasteride and some don't etc. There's no way of knowing until you try it.

here's my knowledge

Do a google image search on Flutamide and Fluridil. And see my other posts. Member search perhaps? As for the Propecia, cut it small, and smaller, until you can handle some specks. Anything is better than nothing, and at least you will not be spending much. 0.2 mg is 80% as effective as 1 mg, with much less effects. Most snake oils out there through in minoxidil because it works. You can dilute yours with 70% isopropyl alcohol if the 2% is too strong for you. The glycol is the main irritant. From what I read, everyone should be using some minoxidil because it combats so many problems that DHT blockers don't. Try squirint an avodart capsule in your minoxidil if you can handle 0.2 mg finasteride without effects.

I'm assuming that you meant to say "...with much less SIDE-effects". However, I don't have any reason to believe that claim. I think SIDE-effects are proportional to the amount of DHT reduction, just like DESIRED-effects, so if a certain small dose is nearly as effective as the standard dose at protecting our hair, then the side-effects are nearly the same, too.
