I don't know much about hairloss except what I read here and there. I do know though that at the beginning of this year - 2003 - my hairline began to quickly recede.
This happened before in my late 20s but the recession stopped at an acceptable level (got lucky). Now I'm in my early 40s. I don't know if this is classic male pattern baldness but my forehead looks like a horseshoe and is getting worse. My crown has hair though - for now.
At the beginning of the year my recessionline was tolerable. No more.
About two months ago I began applying Minoxidil to the balding areas. I was skeptical but incredibly little hairs began to grow in 5 weeks!!!! Now, at one point they disappeared completely on my left side but are back again.
They are tiny but SOMETHING is definitely happening. I just thought I would share this story with those of you who may be frustrated right now.
Oh, there is one more thing I started to do at the time I began minoxidil. I read in a reflexology website that massaging the fingernails stimulates hair growth. I've been doing that too.
So my hair growth is either the result of minoxidil or reflexology. Take your pick. Either way I am hoping the success continues!!!

Alternate Shampoo with Nizoral, T-Gel, Neutrogena clarifying, Tea Tree, and Prograine.
Use Minoxidil 5%.
Take biotin.
Do reflexology on fingernails.
