First day of proscar

Well today is the 1st day of using proscar 1/4 tablet. I am going to try every day skipping the 5th day. Are there any red flag symptons I should look out for on this medication that should cause some worries?

why 1.25...if youre scared about sides try 1 mg every other day...or 1 mg everyday...

its difficult to cut the pills into 1/5th's. They come out very uneven.

Just cut it in 4th's and take it every day... If 1.25mg causes you side effects, chances are that 1mg would too.

I was on 2.5mg daily for like 4 months with no problems... then Dutasteride at .5mg daily for another 6 months with the same results. Included with the regimen was another 640-1280mg saw palmetto daily

I'm sure .25mg extra won't hurt ya

Alright. I will try the 1/4 a day and monitor any side effects occuring. Thanks for the help. Hopefully, I will sprout some new hairs!

If you get sides they may subside after a few weeks. I had some decreased sex drive after 2 weeks, 2 weeks later it went back to normal.
