Finnasteride And Sexual Side Effects

I've made some threads here wondering if I'm getting side effects from finasteride. I'm starting to think that the biggest problem was that I put that in my head


sexual arousal/ability to get very hard is mostly a mental thing. Any sort of anxiety can kill that very quickly. You need to be very stimulated in the brain and that's what will lead to a very strong erection - but you don't get stimulated when you're worried that a pill you're taking is killing your erections. Anxiety can destroy sexual arousal very quickly


Today, I watched a p**rn video that was extremely erotic (one of the best I've ever seen). I was able to get VERY VERY hard...like as hard as humanly possible. You could have hung a towel on my penis. It was all mental though.

They are not just in your head, i can manually stimulate my penis while watching p**rn and get an erection but i can very rarely get an erection just from thoughts like i used to be able to do. This doesn't bother me mind you, since i can still get an erection when needed, but to say it's all in someones head is disingenuous. My libido has definitely suffered from finasteride, but it's not so bad that it bothers me much in day to day life.

how long have you been using finasteride?

have you had sex and no issues getting and staying hard?

Using finasteride for 7/8 months, never had sex(still a virgin lol) but masturbating is fine for me, no problems with getting up when i need to. Only real major side effect except for low libido is lower semen volume, but again, i value my hair more.

I can't remember if I used to get hard just thinking about something. I think I needed to stroke myself also back then


I haven't had sex for a year or so but before that, I used to get very hard without any manual stimulation of the c*** when I was performing oral on women (I love eating p*ssy). I'm curious to see if that will happen again
