Fincar Experiences..

I've read a few articles on this site in regards to Fincar. About how it is a generic brand of Proscar, and that it has the exact same ingredients as Proscar, but it is manufactured slightly differently.

I have to say that the pills are quite cheap overseas. They arrived in good time, and they do have a legit logo on the strips.

But are they believable? Do they work? Are they going to be detrimental to one's health.

So..I'm starting on the Fincar and had some questions for those who have tried it themselves.

1. Did you notice any side effects?

2. Any progress on hair maintenance and hair thickness.

When I was on Propecia earlier last year, I noticed after a month of taking the stuff that my hair felt a little bit different. Density was slightly changed.

3. Any good or bad stories about this product?

I have split up my tablets into 4. Been taking them for under a week. I notice that I still shed, of course its too soon to tell. Also, I noticed that my scalp is a little more oily...

I think I'm going to ride this Fincar out for a little while. Of course, a little while might be 5 months down the road.

Please share your experiences with Fincar...thanks!

I've been on fincar (quartered) for 4.5 months, and just switched to proscar yesterday. I changed for piece of mind. I still have a lot of fincar left, so I guess I'll be taking a mix of the two for a while.

Not very much to report in terms of side effects. I had an initial surge in libido, it's still a lot higher than it was before I started treatment, but I don't really mind.

I did have an intial shed which lasted for a few weeks. I don't believe the shedded hairs regrew with any increased thickness though. Either that, or they are still in telogen phase. One reason I switched is because I didn't noticed increased shaft thickness of my miniaturized hairs, which so many people had been reporting.

Don't worry, finpecia and fincar are safe drugs to use.

CIPLA is a serious company

Cipla manufactures and markets bulk drugs and formulations. It is now ranked second in India by ORG in terms of retail pharmaceutical sales. It has manfacturing facilities at Kurkumbh, Bangalore, Patalganda and Vikroli in Mumbai. All the bulk drug facilities have been approved by the US FDA and the formulation facilities have been approved by the Medicine Control Agency, UK; the Medicine Control Council, South Africa; the Therapeutic Goods Administration, Australia and other international agencies.

That article kind of gives me some peace of mind on Cipla products.

Has anyone ever had success maintaining their hair on Fincar, or Finpecia?

I have ordered some Finpecia basically because of the cost as my budget wont stretch to anything more expensive right at the moment.I also read about the side effects. And you have to take 1 tablet a day.But does anybody know if you can take a tablet every other day will doing it this way lessen side effects but will still maintain or help regrowth with your hair or should you take it everyday.

Doing good on fincar here, in fact just ordered my next 3 months worth.

I've had similar sides as proscar/propecia users, and my hair has stopped falling out as much, and my hairline (to me) looks better.

I'm just about to hit 3 months and post my update, so take the above as you will.

33$ for 36 pills X 4 = 144 Days -VS- 70$ for 30 pills X 1 = 30 Days

Not bad for a "vanity" drug.

I think as long as finasteride is in your system, you will experience the side effects. A lot of people on this site have reported shitty sexual side effects in the first month - 2 months. Perhaps you should take Finpecia for that time window and see how you do, if your side effects are longer than that then you may want to re-consider if you want to bear your sexual prowess against fighting hairloss.

They need to make a drug called Finagra... :hairy:
