i can no longer ignore it: spironolactone is not what id hoped for. I get at least some level of irritation every day, sometimes a little, sometimes a substantial amount, i think im done with the stuff. Anyway, ive been contemplating taking finasteride for a while now, and more and more im thinking i should just get on it- go with something proven that wont end up costing me 6 months should it not work out (ie more "unproven treatments)

My one reservation is this. Im getting married in 6 months, and id hate to risk going into my own wedding with the shed of my life. I might just chance it anyways to save the hair that i have (who knows where my hair will be 6 months from now anyway, right?)

Anyway, i know everyone is different, but im trying to get a general picture of how and when MOST people respond to assist my decision...

One last question- anyone who orders from inhouse pharmacy know the general shipping timeframe (i know they say 7-14 days but estimates often seem to be inaccurate), or if it is common for packages to get tied up in customs? I ordered fincar just over 2 weeks ago...

Hey, just had a quick question about your post. You said spironolactone gave you irritation? Or that it reduced the irritation on your scalp caused from dht? Thanks for clearing this up for me

It's impossible to say, I've been on finasteride for ~8 months and never experienced a 'shed'. Many other users in the success stories forum say they've never had sheds either. :dunno:
