ive been on rogaine for 7 months and i have had very good regrowth in that time but ive started taking finasteride about a month ago and i can see a slight increase in hairs falling out etc will a shed with finasteride be as noticeable as one on rogaine ? or is this in my imagination and is there no such thing as finasteride shedding ive been told by a derm that its not something that any of his patients have ever compalined about anyone with any experience in this i would greatly appreciate a response thank you

I think it's general concent that Rogaine shed is worst than finasteride

I only shed when I used Rogaine, it can happen to some, made my hair much worse.
I stopped using it and just use Propecia only now. I've never shed to the point where I lost loads of hair on Propecia, but your hair must shed and everybody's body reacts differently. It's trial and error, see what works for you.

whats the chances that ill shed again in your opinion did finasteride regrow hair or just maintain for you

Your hair must shed to regrow the thicker hairs.
It made my existing hairs thicker over a very long time. Think how you lose hair, ........it sheds, regrows, miniaturizes, gets thinner and thinner until you have a shiny head.
Well it's that in reverse, can take years for some.
Finasteride will maintain the hair you have in most cases.
