finasteride to dutasteride - cycle off??

i made the jump and ordered a batch of dutasteride a few days ago. since i am currently on finasteride (and have been for some time) do i gradually cycle off finasteride when i start dutasteride or just immediately stop taking finasteride and start taking dutasteride??

Take your finasteride until it runs out. The next day, take Dutasteride.

I noticed some start taking Dutesteride and also continue to take and buy more Finesteride but I don't know the reason for it.

I cycled off the finasteride, the first week I replaced i finasteride pill with dutasteride, the second week 2 and so on until I was taking 7 duts/week.

I just thought it might help avoid a big shed and also to not shock my body by going cold turkey from finasteride after having used it every day for a year and a half.

One day I was taking 1.25 mg Proscar, the next day I was taking 1.5 mg Dutasteride (3 per day for the first 10 days) and no shedding whatsoever.
