finasteride- Switching generics?

Ive been using generics for almost a year and i noticed last time i filled it, the pharmacist mentioned they didn't have the same generic and i would have to wait, so i took what they had. Still generic finasteride.

Are there differences/risks when switching between generics?

There might be slight differences in the 'inactive' ingredients (fillers, binders, coating) but the finasteride itself is just plain old finasteride.

In terms of effectiveness between generics, I can't comment firsthand but based on pure logic I can't see why there would be any difference.
