My proscar package says do not break, i cut it into 1.25 mg, 4 pices, why does it say do not break does it loss it effect or anything like that cus it says do not break or crush it loses its value can sombody explain and if i dont need to worry and just take The tab in mind peace

Don't worry. The "do not break" is just there as standard meant for those prescribed it at 5mg per day.

I think the warning against breaking it is because the dust is dangerous to children and women (if pregnant).
