finasteride, Propecia etc . Which do I take

I'm ready to take the plunge but after reading so much here I'm a bit confused.

I recently got a prescription for propecia from my doctor. But after reading here for a bit and seeing that other have tried so many versions of the drug I was wondering what should I do ?

Is propecia okay or is there a better way ?

I see some members being able to cut and split pills etc and I'm a bit lost.

Any help would be appreciated before I fill my prescription.

finpecia is just "generic propecia".its the same formula just not made by propecia,

and its much cheaper,thats why people go for that.

or for proscar which u can cut into 5 servings.

Have others here started on propecia and then switched to the others ??

Also what about dosages ?

Propecia us 1 mg while I see others taking either higher or lower dosages. Is it better to start out lower than 1 mg or is that the norm ? And would it be safe to split the propecia in half and start with .5o mg instead ??

This is so tricky I can see why some get so thrown off.

the standard dosage is 1mg,and yeah i read here someone started with propecia nd switched to finpecia,and it was fine.

you can buy it from inhousepharmacy.

as for proscar since its a 5mg pill you split it into 5 parts and you ge 1mg per serving.

i think u should just start with 1mg and see how it goes.

I've been on Fincar for 3 months and I have a lot of it left, I just ordered 3 months of Finpecia to play around with and see if it's any different etc.

It's all finasteride, it all works, but there is a little skepticism about dosing amounts etc, but if finasteride is going to work for you its going to work, if not, it won't matter.
