Finasteride can reduce the ability to detect prostate cancer. Therefore, any possibility of prostate cancer should be ruled out before beginning taking this medication. Finasteride may produce genital abnormalities in the male foetus, and crushed or broken tablets should not be handled by women who are or may become pregnant. In addition, since it is present in semen, male patients should wear a condom or otherwise avoid exposure of female sexual partners at risk of becoming pregnant. Finasteride may cause decreased libido, and hypersensitivity reactions such as lip swelling and rashes.

From what i understand this is bullshit, however i wonder where they got their information from?

Perhaps someone should e-mail them and ask

when finasteride first came on the market there were questions as to its safety concerning pregnancy. these questions have since been answered and all reservations withdrawn. as long as your woman is not taking propecia herself then conception, sex and pregnancy have nothing to fear from the finasteride user.

the qhi webpage must be a bit out of date i guess
