Hi.
I'm 48 yrs old and have been losing my hair slowly and now the top back and top are definitely at a loss (though not completely bald).
I noticed that I lose my hair during spring and mainly autumn, so I though about taking finasteride only during spring and autumn so I could avoid the side effects and save my general health since this is a drug.
Do you guys think it will work?

I digged i bit around and there's a chance that I I might regain some of the hair I lost (at least the one I didn't lose to long ago) so maybe I could try sticking with it for maybe 5 years to see what happens .
Your thoughts please.
Thank you

I think you should start taking it. Your older so if you want to try and get some younger looking hair might as well....I'd start with .25 or .5 though not a full dose for a year and then see if it's working and get your body adjusted. You could always move up in the future....best of luck to you.

No, that won't work, just take it daily, if you get unbearable sides then stop, no harm done, seasonal sheds are normal.

Do you think that dosage will suffice? All that i read about finasteride says to take 1 mg/day
