finasteride on a full or empty stomach?

I have been taking finasteride on an empty stomach...is that alright? Does it matter, is one better than the other?

You're supposed to take it with a shot of your favorite bourbon.

That said, I have often wondered the same thing. I take it about an hour after my first meal of the day so I can let my arsenal of supplements settle before I introduce the big bad nasty into my system.

Only take it rectally with alcohol. A turkey baster works well for me, although I'm saving up for a set of "jaws of life."
