Finasteride Mechanism

Does finasteride actually lower testosterone levels as well as DHT? or is is just DHT? I know that when DHT is lowered estrogen levels rise, but I need to know if finasteride lowers testosterone as well

nope it increases testosterone levels. because it prevents some test. being coverted to DHT, that test. elevates normal levels.

it may be possible (after a long time eg. 1 yr +) that by some sort of negative feedback mechanism, test may drop back to what they were before. It may also be possible, by the same mechanism, DHT levels will increase to their previous levels.

Firs time hearing this...DHT levels can be inhibited but not the sensitivity..If u are u inhibit 90% of DHT , u can still be highly sensitive tot he remaining 10 %...i think it has nothing to do with DHT levels if Propecia is not working
