finasteride intake + Caffeine application on scalp = ?

So I have done lots of research, recently I read about caffeine that it does penetrate the scalp... that it did showed improvements to the hair

I tried Alpecin (caffeine shampoo) for a while with no results. Also caffeine is supposed to have a minimal vaso-constrictive property that could conflict with minoxidil.
